About the Program
The NSW Epping West Chinese School delivers two-hours Chinese language and culture classroom lessons to 4 years old and above students from 3:15pm to 5:15pm during weekdays and 1:30pm to 6:00pm on Saturdays during the established NSW school calendar. Online lesson is available on demand.
Program was offered to preschool students from 2023 and NDIS participants since 2024.
The objects of the NSW Epping West Chinese School are to provide a platform for language learning on Mandarin and Cantonese, as well as an opportunity for a lifelong connection.
The NSW Epping West Chinese School encourages the active involvement of its members in managing and assisting the school, including but not limited to attendance at general meetings and participation in school activities. Furthermore, we actively participate in workshops and conferences organised by NSW Federation of Community Languages School Inc. and Department of Education Community Languages Program Office.
Opportunities for our students:
• Opportunity to participate Chinese Cultural Immersion Youth Summer/Winter Camp
• Outstanding students are nominated for the Minister’s Award
• Eligible students are awarded with Certificate issued by CLS program of DoE
• Opportunity to participate events and competitions, such as National Chinese Eisteddfod, Badminton tournament, Visual Arts/ Short Video competitions, and community schools spectaculars.

Lesson Time: Monday to Friday 3:15pm to 5:15pm, Saturday 1:00 to 6:00pm, subject to availability

Open Hour: 8:00am to 8:00pm subject to appointment
我们的中文学校：
Epping West 中文学校创办于2015，是一所在新南威尔士州教育部注册的、非政治、非宗教、非牟利性的社区民族语言学校。本校的校训是“兼容中西 厚德致知 服务社区 儒雅相和”。校区迄今设在 Epping West Public School 小学，周一到周六开设面授和线上中文班、围棋班、编程班、美术班和辅导班。中文班以教授简体普通话为主，同时开办粤语班，适合母语和非母语背景的学生就读。
本校是新州民族语言学校联合会的会员学校、得到新州教育部社区语言教育计划的资助，是注册的新州创造性儿童券服务方。本校在过去三年获得新州政府拨款主办新州社区语言学校羽毛球比赛和新州中小学校际羽毛球比赛。本校也是新州多元文化部区域联络点和新州紧急救援中心地区网点。本校校务团队也是悉尼中国（含港澳台）羽毛球联赛的组委。我们于2024年开始为残障人士提供融入社区的机会。
