The tournament will be held at Alpha Auburn Badminton Centre on Sunday 21 July 2024.

Parents, Guardians and Team supervisors make sure that the players are sound and fit to compete this tournament. Participation is voluntary and at your own risk. We are not liable for any claims. Please inform us if you do not agree to have photos taken and published on our website. Excursion rules apply, players should wear school PE uniform and wrist band issued by the host.

Venue: Alpha Auburn , Unit 6, Building 2, 161 Manchester Road, Auburn

8:45am registration starts, all team supervisors collect wrist band. All players are required to register at least 30 minutes prior to the tournament.

9:00am group photo at Court 6 and 7: Team supervisors, Primary division, Secondary Single division, Secondary Allied division, Volunteers and Staff.

9:20am Tournament starts, each team takes care of scores unless otherwise arranged.

12:00 to 1:00pm single school photo and team photos

4:00pm: Tournament completes with award presentation

We have received registration from 188 secondary students and 75 primary students, unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate all.

We provide lunch order services, $13 package:

Tournament Rules:

Primary and Secondary Allied Division has 12 teams respectively, five rounds to determine the ranking.

First phase two rounds robin, Second phase three rounds robin.

Four pools of 3 teams, two-rounds robin, the first team from each pool will advance to first tier , the second team from each group will be second tier, the third team from each group will be the third tier.

Another three rounds robin:

First Tier: Winner, Runners Up, 3rd Place, 4th Place

Second Tier: 5th Place, 6th Place, 7th Place, 8th Place

Third Tier: 9th Place, 10th Place, 11th Place,12 Place

Secondary Single School Division has 16 teams, five rounds to determine the result:

First phase three round robins in each pools of 4 teams, second phase the forth round competes between A B groups, and C D groups respectively, the fifth round will determine the ranking of each tier.

First Tier: Winner, Runners Up, 3rd Place, 4th Place

Second Tier: 5th Place, 6th Place, 7th Place, 8th Place

Third Tier: 9th Place, 10th Place, 11th Place,12th Place

Fourth Tier: 13th Place, 14th Place, 15th Place, 16th Place

Primary Division: One single, two doubles, regardless gender. Each player can only play one game each round.

Secondary Division: One boy single, one boy/girl single, one boys double, one girls double, one mixed double. Each round state team player is permitted to play one game only. One non-state team boy and one non-state team girl player can play two games including mixed double in each round.

Each match will be played in a one-set, 21-point format. There is no tie-break system. Matches won, points won and points lost in all matches are counted towards a team’s final score, that will determine whether a team makes it into the quarter finals.

EBA Head Coaches Pramudya Kusumawardana (World Rank 11) and Andika Ramadiansyah (World Junior Championship Silver Medalist and WR 59) will be present to distribute the champion and runners up medals and trophies to each winner. Both players advanced to top 8 in 2024 Australian Badminton Open.

$200 cash prizes to Secondary Single Division winner, $180 cash prize to Secondary Allied Division winner, $150 cash prize to Primary Division winner.

Every player in Winner team will receive one free training session, while Runner Up team player receive 50% off training session from EBA.

Eligible players are welcome to participate the lucky draw run by EBA (conditions apply)
