时间飞逝转眼就到了第二学期的最后一周，感谢老师家长们的支持和同学们的努力，请密切留意记载我们美好回忆的第二学期简报。
第三学期周一到周六的中文班招生已经接近尾声，C1MC, C1MW, C2TW, C3WJ, C4TC, C5FN满员, C2TC, C4TW, C5FM还有两个位置。
我们在第三学期将进行STEM课程学中文的尝试，无人机Scratch初学者编码课程，学生通过了解编码的基础知识，融合中文学习，创建简单程序并在无人机产品上操作。6人成班，分级上课，学生使用在线编程环境，无线访问相关资料，提高编码技能。10岁以上的学生优先录取。我们也会根据学生的实际水平，转介到Python的课程。
为了帮助6年级提升自学能力，找到学习的内动力，我们将通过游戏学习中文并进行个人提升的课程, 了解幸福， 自我探索, SWOT分析，享受阅读，自强自律， 和家长们努力建造亲子关系。
这个假期我们也给同学们准备了丰富的线上活动，免费的：
1. 7月8日到22日 “亲情中华. 为你讲故事”网上夏令营（广东营）第五期活动，开幕仪式将在7月8日举行。同学们除了听故事，学绘画，唱歌学中文、写书法、玩折纸，打功夫等，还会体验潮州、肇庆、汕头等岭南文化的精髓。我们将根据学生的年龄水平进行分班群学习。40分钟为一个课时，涵盖直播课程+录播课程+每日故事+课后作业。每位营员需要选择一个故事完成打卡小作业。
2. 2021海外华裔菁英青少年大运河文化线上体验活动 （7月20日下午北京时间下午4点开幕）。同学们将会领略南京乌衣港和总统府的变幻风云、享受匠心无锡的诗情画意、欣赏徐州玉龙山湖的如画风景、探秘常州恐龙园和古淹城、寻找苏州园林和苏绣的惊艳、感受南通张骞之气古韵之优、饱览泰州溱潼的独特和千垛风情、和扬州盐商个园邵伯古韵… 已经参加了去年活动的同学可以继续留在原来的订订群，新生需要先下载钉钉。
两个活动希望同学们能参加开幕式，其他节目活动可以根据个人情况灵活安排。

2021 Term 3 New Offer
Time flies and we have come to the last week of term 2. A big thank you to our teachers, parents and students, we have closely completed our Term 3 Chinese class enrolment with 75% plus students enrolled for Term 3 and Term 4 in one go.
As we emerge from the pandemic, it is essential that we continue the positive outlook for future. Our sustainability strategy serves as a roadmap to guide our action as we work to achieve our goal. At Epping West Chinese School, we shape the community for a better setting.
From Term 3 we would like to incorporate STEM ideas into Chinese learning.
Scratch & Drone Level 1:
Flight school introduction, First Flight Mission with Scratch, Aerial Photography, Flight Practice, Chat with Drone, Farmer’s Commission, Topographic Survey, Sky Waltz and Confused Drone
Scratch & Drone Level 2:
Air Delivery, Drone’s Brothers, Stars in the Night Sky, Ready to Go, Tracking Footprints, In-depth Exploration-1, In-depth Exploration-2, Let’s Go Drone 1&2
We also aim to build up a healthy mind for those linking to teenagers, SWOT analysis will help the young mind to realize their potentials and foster efficient communication.
In term 3, we will also organize students to participate Grand Canal and we would endeavor to connect and increase students’ interest in Chinese learning. Please keep an eye for our upcoming Term 2 newsletter.
