I extend a very warm welcome back to all families for the commencement of Term 3.
Term 3 is always a busy term for all. If you have missed the HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) on 31 July, please apply the Internet-based Test (at-home) on September 3. The deadline is 20th August. Please click to register: https://forms.gle/nmwkgeFVJ9d4UHzJ748.
Covid Safety Protocols:
- Students must not attend school with cold or flu symptoms and must remain at home until fully recovered
- Mask wearing is strongly recommended for all students and staff while indoors on campus
- Students who test positive to COVID-19 must isolate as per NSW Health guidelines
- If a student is a close contact, they may continue to attend school, as long as they undertake a daily RAHT, wear a mask indoors and have no symptoms
- All students expected to attend class in person, unless they have tested positive to COVID-19 or are otherwise unwell, or absent from School. Any absence should provide prior notice
Monday to Friday one hour badminton lesson has started with great rate $11 per session at Silverwater.

为了方便高年级的学生学习中文，我们拟邀请资深的老师来辅导准备参加中英文和数学高考的中学生。
两位数学老师均获得数学博士学位并在大学长期从事数学专业教育和科研工作。提供HSC 3U和4U数学课程内容辅导和考试培训，并提供与大学数学课程衔接的辅导(学生考完HSC之后)。两位老师的分工：拥有数学学士学位且一直担任新州中学老师的老师提供Y7—Y11 个性化数学教育培训。本地长大的、拥有数学学士学位并在UNSW获得硕士学位的老师将负责Y10、Y11和2U数学培训。目前的安排是周五晚上和周六进行培训课程。
英语老师拥有语言学学位及教育学硕士学位，一直担任新州中学老师。负责HSC standard及advanced 英语培训。英文仅提供网课，仅限4名学生。
中文高考辅导老师从2005年开始就在DET在周六学校授课，曾担任高考出题和评卷老师。
