Welcome to the 2024 Term 1! We hope you and your child/ren have been settling in well. We would like to offer a particularly warm welcome to all our new families who have joined this year. We look forward to meeting you in person soon, if not have happened!
We celebrated Year of Dragon with calligraphy of Fortune, traditional papercutting, lantern, couplets, new year painting as well as traditional customs. Our students once again supported Eastwood Chinese Senior Citizens Association by performing dance and distribution of fortune candies during Eastwood New Year Celebration. 8 students showcased their music talent on the joint performance with Shandong private school students at Hurstville.
Our badminton team of 10 existing and previous Epping West parents and students competed 8th Sum Express Sydney Chinese College Badminton Tournament Social Division on 24 March. It is our 4th time of participation. We won USYD3 and SYSU2 on women double and mixed double. Our school will again host 2024 NSW Inter Schools Badminton Tournament on 21 July 2024. Congratulations to Jason who won 2024 Sydney International Judo Open and 2024 Judo NSW State Championship. Auroral attended Japan Tokai University Judo camp.

衷心感谢和热烈欢迎我们之前的在册生和新生们！孩子们学习中文的热情如夏天的温度一样高涨，朗读简单的课文《开学了》《新年好》，唱起《新年好》，听取《年兽》的故事，学习中国新年的风俗习惯，分享假期和家人团聚的喜悦，剪出精美的窗花，粘贴彩纸上的春色满园 ， 舞动飞龙，沾墨挥毫，【福】气洋溢。我们学生还跟山东崂山私校游学团共同呈现了一台精彩的节目。我们继续支持依士活高龄华人友谊会迎接龙年新年活动，学生们表演了舞蹈《渔舟晚唱》和在《财神到》的歌声中为众人派发利是糖，送上龙年的祝福。
由10名在册和毕业学生家长组成的羽毛球队第四次参加第八届速码中澳物流悉尼中国(含港澳台）高校羽毛球联赛业余赛区比赛, 我们的学生在女双和混双分别战胜USYD2 和中大2队。2024年我们学校将继续举办新州中小学羽毛球校际比赛。感谢我们的赞助商继续为学生们免费提供以球会友的平台和机会。详情参看本网站羽毛球的网页介绍。

三月开始，我们学校将与国民残障计划注册服务公司Alpfire 和 悉尼中国高校羽毛球联赛俱乐部紧密合作，为国民残障人士提供涵盖协助就业/教育、提高个人技能、照顾日常起居等服务课程。详情参看网站NDIS的推文。
